Download or Print Free Computer Hardware Poster
This poster is a useful guide to computer hardware.
I love computer hardware. The first time I pulled a Seasonic Power Supply out of it's box I almost swooned. I might have thought that was weird except the friend who was with me almost swooned as well. When I opened a pack of OCZ memory I about fell out of my chair in awe. I've moved on to other motherboards and memory, but I still have that pair of OCZ memory sticks sitting on my computer desk. I can't seem to part with them. Luckily you don't have to be hardware crazed to enjoy this poster. The poster is chock full of images; processors, sockets, memory sticks, connectors, peripheral cards, ports and more.

The poster is free to download and/or print with option to buy the print. It's original size is 24x34 @ 180DPI ~17.2MB at time of upload. To download the poster you can click on the image or click on the download button. Either will take you to the large version; from there you can right click on the image and use the image saving option of your browser. If you don't know the difference between ports and processors and want to see what they look like, you'll enjoy this poster. If you've been a hardware type of person, you might find yourself feeling a little, well, nostalgic.
Signing off for now,

Is this available in a larger size ?
Yep, it sure is..........go to the link in the above article, that takes you to the author's deviantART page where you can download a 4320 x 6120 .png version. There's an option to purchase a print as well.
Love the graphic! I am putting together a fact sheet for the Sustainable Electronics Initiative (www.sustainelectronics.illinois.edu) about various computer parts and materials they contain. Do I have your permission to use the graphic?
I think you will have to ask for permission from the artist who made the poster. He can be contacted on Deviantart, the link of which is given in the article.
Exactly Anupam........the person who created the poster is the one to ask for permission, the link to his site on DeviantART is in the article above.
I don't imagine there would be a problem, the creator has been very generous sharing it on various websites.
I'm always amazed at how you come across all this great stuff Rhiannon - Well done.
