Apologies for being late to the party.

This, and many other titles, are available as free audio ebooks at Librivox http://librivox.org/. In this case (Alice in Wonderland), there are a couple of different readings by different groups of readers. Click on the link to the catalog, then enter the search criteria in the appropriate box.

I have no idea how the Librivox edition compares to the one at AudioFile, but generally they are well done. Can't hurt to give them a look (?) ;).

These free audio books _never_ expire. And did I mention they were free?

Thank you very, very much. My daughter has functional autism and this is just the ticket. Her name is Alice, so she has always been interested in this tale. I even made the mistake of getting the PC game for her. (Her mother was singularly NOT impressed with that move). Thanks again very much.

Thank you! I've always loved reading; but I also loved listening to radio theatre during family time as a kid. Ironic that my computer will allow me to revisit some lo-tech fun with my kids.

P.S. I left the check mark IN for the email subscription. I doubt that it will be spam. I also doubt that they will give my address to spammers. Most spam I get is from 'anonymous' sources. ;-)

Nice find. You sign up and then get spammed to listen to a book you're too lazy to read.

I post a Hot Find for FREE software and get ignored. Someone sunbmits a post for an audiobook and it's published.

This site used to be about software.

Amen! www.spamgourmet.com works great. I often use it, and you can set the number of emails it will pass through, in case you need to get a second or third for any reason.
