Hello everyone, I want to know about the latest available premium photo papers in the market. Actually I am looking for the best quality photo papers which I can use for taking out the scanned photos from the internet. Can anyone suggest me one or more categories or varieties of such photo papers? Any help is appreciated.

Firstly paper is not the issue as the number one priority. The warning sign here is when you say scanned and not downloaded. The first priority is the quality of the image, the size, pixels (dpi). You can't enlarge an image on a low jpg and expect the quality of the paper to improve it. But if the image is TIFF or a descent downloaded jpg and you have a reasonable to excellent quality of image, then you have to look at inks to provide you the quality. The quality you seem to be asking for and demanding is more on the professional side and to achieve a quality photo these are two major factors. Also your printer is a major player in this.

Suggest you enlighten us on your purpose, what printer you have and the inks you are using. Size of the images as well. The problem with paper is there is so much out there, to assess it would cost money and if I where looking for that kind of standard I would keep to Kodak, Ilford and other pro papers.
Here is a site that people have reviewed paper

Sorry, but the answer isn't that simple too many questions as I have stated above.
1- Size of images and quality?
2 - What size do you want to print?
3 - What printer do you use?
4 - What inks are you using?
5 - Are you looking for quality at any cost or on a budget?

I look forward to seeing your reply

Tony
