Hey guys;

I'm lookin for freeware to create Virtual PCs I know Microsoft has one out for free that can be found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/virtualpc/overview.m...

But I was just wonderin if there was somethin different or easier to use. (at this point in time I haven't installed the product above but is very close to doin so)

Is there any virtual machine that supports Parallel Port? Heard that Qemu can do the magic... Is this true?

I'm not runnin off of linux I'm runnin on Windows

I was talking of Linux guests, not Linux as host. What do you want to virtualize, anyway ?

I wanna do up my PC the reason for that is cause I have a game (football game) that when it runs I can't do anything else on my PC and was told if I made a Virtual PC and run it on that then I can do anythin I want as it'd be closed out in it's own manner an still runnin.

Virtualbox again. VirtualPC has no 3D support. I use only Virtualbox and I prefer it over Vmware (market leader) because there are no services/processes running 24/7 and it's full featured. It's Windows GUI (interface) is rather simple to allow the begginer to start using it without major problems. But what are the memory requirements of the football game and how much RAM do you have in your box ? You might as well upgrade RAM, which is cheap right now.

ya got a link for VirtualBox ?

as for ram in my system... 1.5GB

That's OK.

You can download from
http://www.filehippo.com/download_virtualbox/
All official builds are here
http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

You choose. I assume you know you have to install an OS (like XP) before running the game ?

Sun's Virtualbox. VirtualPC is no good for Linux, has less features, etc., etc...
