Cover Commander 3.0 free May 24 ONLY on Give Away Of The Day (GOTD)

Today's give away from GAOTD lets you design a DVD, CD, e-book or software box / cover in 3D (for personal use only).

Judging fronm the comments over on GAOTD this seems to be another high quality, user friendly  giveaway which carries considerable appeal to some.

From the developer's description:

Create Software Boxes and EBook Covers

No matter what's in the box, shoppers will not value it if the box doesn't have a captivating cover. A great cover conveys a compelling message that the product under the cover is worth their attention... and their money.

 Cover Commander creates professional, custom-designed virtual boxes, books, dvd-boxes, manuals, CD disks, and screenshots. Just a few mouse clicks is all that’s necessary to get the job done. The program’s extensive light, shadow, and reflection controls will allow you to create an image of just about any complexity and see the final picture as it is being made in the real-time preview window.

New 3.0 version:

* added saving animation in the SWF, GIF and AVI formats;
* added command-line and batch processing mode;
* optimized memory usage;
* improved compatibility with Windows Vista;

"Today's give away from GAOTD looks useful for small businesses...."
ALL the offerings from GOTD carry the same limitations:
No free technical support
No free upgrades to future versions
Strictly personal usage
The software could be excellent for a small business after paying a full price, but not too many of us here have a need for that type of software at home.

Yes indeed. You're completely right - I'm very sorry. Thank you for pointing out this mistake. I've now corrected the article.
