copy a dvd dl to a dvd r single layer

Hi guys,

I have sonic v7 installed on my pc but it does not seem to come with a feature to copy double layer dvd to single layer dvds. Is there any way I can use sonic to do this or maybe tell me what freeware is out there to be able to do this task, maybe nero 8? This is to copy a game to dvd r disk.

The program you are looking for is DVDShrink. It is mentioned in the section for "Best Free CD/DVD Burning Software". Here is the link to that category: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-cd-dvd-burning-software.htm

It will take a dual layer DVD, analyze it, compress it and then create an ISO that will fit on a single layer DVD.

DVDShrink is not going to work if it is a game.
