Thanks for your reply i had resolved my problem with the help of an computer support Technician as it was quite urgent for me to resume my work.

I've installed Windows and other operating systems more time than I can count, I've also had more problems than I care to remember so now I'm pretty good at it.
My #1 rule for installing windows is to wipe the disc clean before you install (a clean install). Trying to install over partitions and old OS's asking for trouble, I would give it at least a 50% chance of failure. There are a number of free utilities that will overwrite the hard drive so the new install is basically like using a brand new hard drive. A single overwrite pass is good enough unless you want to securely destroy all the old data. I've NEVER had an Windows install failure after doing this. Try this one: http://www.dban.org/
Wipe the drive clean with the boot disk then let Windows format and install.
If this doesn't work you could possibly have a bad install disc or any number of hardware problems, but wiping the disc clean gives you a good starting point and eliminates what has always been for me the the biggest reason for install failure. I've spent countless hours beating my head against the desk learning this stuff the hard way, but if you look in the right places a lot of other people make the same reccomendations.
