Blank screen before WXP PRO splash screen

Hi,

I have been trying, with regular attemps, to solve this issue since 2002 but without success, so I do not expect you have the magic wand.

I run WXP PRO SP3, when I boot up my PC, after the BIOS check I get  a blank screen for 33 secs, then the WXP splash screen.

I am sure this is not a software problem, most probably a conflict between my video card (ATI 9600 dual head) and my two CRT monitors, Philips 109P20 Brilliance. I suspect it is hw because when I shutdown my PC, only the secondary monitor goes off together with the PC, the primary monitor takes an extra 10 secs. which is weird to me, but it is so since 7 years.

As you can see from my signature, my system is dated, but it works very well and I maintain it, non virus, no spyware, no problems, apart the just said ones, it runs fine, I just would like to boot it 30 secs. faster :)
