Introduction
Here are a few nice online image editors for you to try.  There are a lot of free ones that offer simple adjustments, but the following list will review some of the better ones with more advanced options.
Discussion
Pixlr - Has an excellent set of tools that rival many software image editors.  It has a full set of selection, drawing, retouching, cropping, resizing, and warping tools.  You can add text, do all kinds of basic and advanced lighting and color adjustments, apply numerous filters, and supports layers with blending.  It left me wishing that it was adownloadable application so I could use it anytime anywhere.

Splashup - This online editor is not as sophisticated as Pixlr, but still has a good set of tools and supports layers with blending modes.  One advantage it has over Pixler is that it supports working directly with online photo sharing sites like, Flickr, Facebook, and Picasa.  It also has a very attractive toolbars and menus.

Aviary Phoenix - This is a nice image editor that is part of a online suite of image tools that includes a vector editor, a filter and effects laboratory, and a color coordination designer.  It is very easy to use and understand.
