Thanks for the update.
I believe autodetect wasn't a recent feature, it was added in May 8, 2008 (http://lifehacker.com/388526/google-translate-automatically-detects-and-...).
Also need to mention the uploading documents feature again, which even works for PDF files (http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2009/07/google-translates-documents.html).
Seriously, please at least reply this time Jojoyee.
Bing Maps has more accurate map data and better directions than Google Maps. Google Maps has gotten me lost many times trying to take me down roads that do not exist or hit a dead end. Bing has never failed me. Bing has a nicer interface, better satellite photos, plus birds eye view from a plane and it's not even mentioned?
Thanks for the resources. Google Translate indeed is a good service.
Its actually even worse than you have quoted. Not only do you lose your copywrite to anything you post, but your information, down to your physical address is likely to be 'shared' with partners who may set tracking cookies on your computer. I understand the site's service is free simply because its just bait for its real business of marketing.

I got one too! Thanks.
Cometdocs.com is one I use every day for PDF conversion.
SlimTimer tracks your task times in real time and creates daily, weekly and monthly reports with the data. I used it once when I was working on another company. When I checked again my account, my old tasks where still there after 2 years.
I think this one should be under Timer / Alarm Clock
That's a good idea, it's now in the list.
In PDF converter section where is missing one service which do all documents to PDF and also support PDF to Word conversion. It is http://www.freepdfconvert.com
You should have typed in a German sentence to test the English results. Tsk tsk. :S
wave.google.com
Great list. :) Good work in compiling it. I would suggest Cometdocs and Zamzar in PDF tools. I use them every day and they are pretty much good and widespread.
oh, that is a good one too.
Best Free Sudoku online
For me, one of the best free sudoku, kakuro and others, is www.puzzlemix.com from Dr Gareth Moore. It contains many different games, daily subscription, set of puzzles ...
You can record games, view the intermediate times, your time to complete each game, add comments, add an assessment of difficulty ...
Very comprehensive!
This is my first comment, but I visit this site for over a year and am very happy with the work. Gizmo and collaborators keep it up;)
Thanks for the suggestion, and for the comment :). Please do keep posting :)
Thanks for mentioning Puzzlemix which looks good to me. I'll try it a few more rounds to see its strengths.
As a web host, byet sucks. I wanted to try everything on this page but thought I'd get the hosting to put it online as I went. Can't.
Google docs won't let me paste and after jumping through all the hoops byet won't either. Useless to me.

Hi!
I use http://e.ggtimer.com/ which is nice, try it.
Your site, with all this links, is one of the few interesting site I use, congrats!
After CHROME OS will appear on market I think your site will be fire up!
Just wanted to give a shout out to Toodledo for being the best online To-Do list. I find it superior then RememberTheMilk
http://toodledo.com

1. www.mergepdf.net
2. www.splitpdf.net
If you need to merge/ split a PDF once in a while, they can be useful. No registration is required.
The copyright notice at the bottom each site is old, but they work.
Merge limits: 10 files & 5MB/ file.
Split limits: 20MB/ file.
An excellent free online learning service. You have to sign up for it but if there's a catch i've yet to find it:)

Webnode appears to be a 30 day trial only after which you have to purchase the premium package...
From the registration email i rec'd...
Do you like your new website? During these 30 days you can try for free. If you want to use after that period, you can buy the premium package in the Premium Services .
My registration was successful, without saying a 30-day trial. The email I received after registration:
"Congratulations! Registration of project xxx.webnode.com was successful
Your project xxx.webnode.com has been successfuly registered. Here is an overview of important login data:

Very impressive list. Thanks Jojoyee!
I've found that the best free fast translator is Reverso.
link is http://www.reverso.net/text_translation.aspx?lang=EN
change lang to your language.
"Gmail ... filtering out exe and zip files."
Gmail filters out exe files but not zip files (unless they contain exe files). But this can be circumvented by encrypting the zip file.
freepdfconvert.com is not FREE.
It truncates docs to two page max.
If you want more, you must buy a membership.
You're spot on JF and appreciated your feedback.
