I use to be a Gizmo member years ago until you partnered up with another organization. I loved your newsletters and so did miss them. I could not believe my luck when I came across your website. And from what I have seen so far you appear to be holding to your high standards. A true admirier of your dedication.

Here is a free pasting tool http://www.pasteit.in for debugging the code, similar to any other pastebin website but has support for all major languages syntax. The diff tool lets the programmer/debugger see what changes other user has made in the original code.

This may sound pretty self-centered of me, but have you guys tried Bob? It will fit perfectly under the education section of this site. It is a new site where students can go and ask for help or provide help to other students. But because it is new (less then a month old), there isn't much content on it yet.Stating that, it has had a promising start in my school. It's URL is [edited out]

by Anupam on 11. December 2011 - 5:46  (84805)

The site has no content at all, and therefore won't be considered for inclusion here. Sorry.

by ehqhelp on 12. December 2011 - 2:33  (84859)

Okay, I understand. I would just like you guys to keep it in mind, for when it has content. It is just a start up project. Thanks anyways.

Regarding the best PC Games catagory, I'd like to suggest you check out Kongregate, com. Ad-free, hundreds of games with badges and points awarded on many games. It's the best I've seen yet!

Wow! I cannot believe Gizmo's Freeware. My mind already hurt before I bookmarked it and now I am totally numb with all of the intelligence that exists for this medium. Totally numb. I do not know where to start, stop, use, throwaway! Wow, I think a college education could be replaced just reading Gizmo's web material.

by jmronet on 1. October 2011 - 22:21  (80710)

Best Free Online Webmail --> GMX Mail. Must be a joke, trying to create a new account with them goes nowhere, looks like they just want to access your facebook account.

by Jojoyee on 2. October 2011 - 1:19  (80715)

Unless you opt for logging in with a Facebook ID, you can create a new GMX account with a non-Facebook ID and password at your choice. I just tried it with no issue.

by jmronet on 2. October 2011 - 1:56  (80717)

Tried one more time with and without login to facebook, receive this message: "Your registration could not be processed at the moment. Please try again later. If the error persists, please contact us." Searching for this error shows that other people receive the same error.

A lot of folks prefer GMX to Google for reasons of privacy, although I use both. GMX does have it's quirks though. In Linux, no matter how I tweak the settings, Evolution constantly throws up repeated requests to re-enter my password, although this doesn't happen with Thunderbird. There are also periods when I cannot access my GMX account at all.

by etim (not verified) on 7. December 2011 - 22:46  (84601)

I would--and do-- advise folks to avoid GMX at all costs! I had a Mail.com account for over 10 years with minimal problems but since GMX bought "Mail.com" I have had nothing but problems. My contacts(who I kept exclusively on their servers) have been hacked and spammed twice. The pages are buggy as hell--I never know how the pages will work--when they work at all.
Complaints to them aren't properly addressed and their responses (the few that they gave) have, as often as not, made no sense at all. Spam has been flooding in--much of it from France.
Needless to say I'm migrating to a less incompetent service!

I simply love Mejuba the best. From what I know Mejuba (mejuba.com) is THE only site that offers free and unrestricted uploads of videos and pictures without ANY restrictions on file size, video length or monthly traffic. And uploads your originals. No monthly limits or quotas. You can upload 1GB per upload. Pictures and videos are stored in their original formats and are kept unmodified for backup. I also like that you can geo-tag your stuff so it shows up on a map. And you can search for stuff on the map – that’s cool! Even Google Street View is now implemented - eat that Youtube, Vimeo etc!!! As the only site I know of it uses a Windows Explorer like navigation with folders – super easy to use – even has drag and drop! It’s free, fast, nice design as SO much better than the other video sites. Still missing a few features - but I am sure they will be added later.

A great online game site for the game of Bridge is http://www.bridgebase.com

You can kibitz (just watch) or play with your own partner or a pickup partner. You can play against bridge "robots". Some special tournaments do have an entry fee. Huge base of players from all over the world.
