Apple has a huge app store, full of lots of brilliant games for all of it's devices, however because of it's size you cannot expect to know even a quarter of the good apps or games. Hopefully in this article I will help you choose a few quality games and leave you thoroughly entertained. I will try to update this as often as possible to keep up to date with offers, etc. |

As a cricket fan this game is amazing, however I know several friends who regularly play this game without knowing or liking anything about the sport. It is incredibly addictive however has a big downside: It is restrictively free; meaning that in essence it is a lite version. This does not mean it is unplayable, There are several different modes on the free version so the playability is not effected. The game's layout is slick and fast responding whilst being attractive. It has full Gamecenter support (w/ Achievements)
Drag and drop to move cards is supported as well as both portrait and landscape orientations. Saving games have never been so easy in Solitaire, if you leave the app then it automatically saves and will be there when you open it again. It has full GameCenter Support (w/ Achievements)
This is a great step for iOS gaming. fernLightning showcases some of the best looking graphics on any portable device. Not only that but it is genuinely a good game, in that you can play it as a Single-player FPS or play with friends. For me this would be amazing if not for the controls, they really are abysmal.
The game is set in Post-Apocalyptic 'Game-Show', with the basic objective of killing mutants/zombies. The down-side to the ground-breaking graphics and gameplay is that it has a big size of 746MB. Which for me is too much to mantain on my "8GB" phone which is actually around 6.8GB after firmware. It has Gamecenter Support
This is a really great little arcade timewaster. If you don't know then the objective of the game is to throw a 'frag' through various obsticles in order to blow up enemy soliders. My descrption doesn't do justice to this amazing game. It has full Gamecenter support (w/ Achievements) |
