Acronis True Image backups

This isn't a problem, more like a query.  When backing up an image file with Acronis True Image, can the restore be done from either a usb thumb drive or an external hard drive?  Thank you.

Sometimes i too get technical doubt like you got above then i ask iYogi Technician about the answers for there tech problems as i do not have much computer know-how. I rely on iYogi for Computer Help.

Is there any freeware or an open source application which would make an image of a hardware RAID5 system? Googling gave some inconsistent results. I ran Acronis True Image 5 Personal Edition for test on our RAID 5 and it seems that it created the image. But I really do not know whether restoring would work especially if the server crashes.

It sure can! But Macrium Reflect does it better.
