I'm a die-hard XP user. I realize I'm riding a dinosaur but this dinosaur is one I've trained to do just what I want it to do.
I still have a computer using DOS 6.2 and Win 3. Why? Damfino.

Why? Because it works for you. The best reason there is. I look up to you. You are obviously productive, which is the name of the game.

Some of still use XP. These tips are worthless to us. Thanks for trying.

Let's see...you didn't read the part about it being the Top 5 tips by readers? You didn't read tips #1 & #2 that can be used for XP? And you didn't read this at the end of the short article?: "What was your favorite tip of the year? Let us know in the comments. And while you are at it, let us know what you’d like to learn about in 2013."

So instead of being constructive and appreciative, you choose to be snarky. "Thanks for trying..."

While a large number of people use XP, but a large number now also use Win 7, Win 8, or Vista. These tips are certainly not worthless to them.

In point of fact, two of the five tips apply to all current versions of Windows, including XP. Also these tips are reader's choices for the top five from a large assortment of tips, many of which are applicable to Windows XP systems.

I've noticed that you have quite a few tips for us dinosaur riders and it's appreciated. The Top Five is just that, the Top Five, which show's what the readers want.
