4 Killer Gmail Features You Might Not Know About

Four more features to add to your Gmail toolbox.

Gmail announced this week that you can now drag and drop images in Gmail. I'm sure there was a chorus from long suffering Gmail users singing "happy day" with overtones of "it's about time". No matter. Here's an article with four lesser known Gmail features you can add to your Gmail toolbox to go along with the new drag and drop images function. I'm liking the "show search options" trick.

All of a sudden, today, I can no longer read the text on any of the pages on this site; it's mostly just barely visible white text on a white background.

There's a notice at the top of the site, if you can't read it here's what it says:

NOTICE: Sorry for our plain looks but we are using a temporary site theme for the next few hours
We having some IE8 compatibility problems with our new theme so we are temporarily using a basic theme while we sort things out. A few site features may not work with this basic theme..

That may have something to do with it - are you using IE8?

just remembering : drag and drop images to the e-mail text area work only with Chrome. For other browsers one can only drop to the attachments bar.

You can also drag and drop images in Thunderbird if you are using it as a client of Gmail
