3D Photosynth

Thought this might be of interest to all you shutter bugs out there!

An endorsement by another website on the home page proclaims, ‘The best thing to happen to photography since the digital camera.’ While there is of course no way of verifying such a claim, it is nevertheless an interesting concept albeit by no means totally original.

The website gives the following description, ‘Photosynth creates an amazing new experience with nothing more than a bunch of photos. Creating a synth allows you to share the places and things you love using the cinematic quality of a movie, the control of a video game, and the mind-blowing detail of the real world.’

Enjoy!

Moderators comment:

Photosynth was first mentioned here by another visitor 12 months ago but is worth looking at again for those who haven't seen it yet. There are restrictions and limitations attached to the free version especially if you don't want your creations to be viewed publicly. Just check out the terms and conditions first to make sure they meet your expectations.

Many thanks for your support MidnightCowboy. I have only been on the forum prior to writing this small article and I was aware of Photosynth having been mentioned, but like you thought it worthy of a mention.

It was also mentioned in the freeware-forum about 5 months ago.

I was aware of the forum post but as many of our visitors only visit the main page sections and torresmagnifico had taken the trouble write this we felt it was worth publishing it here.
