I tried both of these a while ago, and neither really does what they're supposed to do. Without them I stream videos quickly and fine. When I tried Speedbit, it speeded the video up enormously, but stopped, and speeded again, and stopped. It continued like this (the video became slower every time) until it froze, literally. Then I scrapped it, and decided to try SpeedyiTunes, but it doesn't seem to make any difference, and interfered with my download manager, and web shield (had different ones at the time). Of course I didn't keep it as well. Now I have 2 questions. 1) Do I need to do anything about my firewall (Comodo) settings on these programs to make them work better? (I obviously allowed them to connect). 2) Do you really need these things if your internet is perfectly fine, and streams smoothly?
