Tapur: japanese freeware answering and recording machine for Skype. Absolutly free, no hidden or ad features. Records the received calls audio and/or video, compressed or uncompressed. Can record automatically. Answering machine: you can set general greetings voice, plus individually for every contact, who you want.
Author wrote about Tapur 4.2 beta: "This version doesn't support Skype 5.0." On my WinXP SP3 + Skype 5 it works perfectly. Found only 1 little defect: it can not autorun (set it to "NO"!), because Skype crashes. You must to start it manually after Skype started. (Huhh! A whole 1 click after every reboot... :))
I detected plus 2 little problems, but they are correctable.
1. First about 5 seconds does not recorded. See Tapur's home page's FAQ!
2. I set Tapur to start answering machine after 10 seconds (I can receive the call manually before it), but it started only about after 30-35 seconds. My workaround was: asked my friend to call me, AM received it. For second time set the interval to 0 (zero), he called again. AM reflected really without delay. For third time set the interval to 10 sec, he called again - and delay was OK, 10 sec.
