3. Best Free Image Tools for Android
Comments
Thanks a lot. I will definitely try it. How about any suggestion for forex monitoring?
Well Mobeep is a very good free app too. It's another app store that has plenty of digital content like apps, games and videos: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.Ozura.MoBeep&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5PenVyYS5Nb0JlZXAiXQ..
Can we application for Profile Switching. I got Android just few days ago and still learning. I use DHCP at home and fixed IP at work. So I need to make different profile to work at different places. It can be automatic or manual switching of WiFi Profile which stores all configurations.
It is Sony Xperia Pro. And I use Wifi in both circumstances where there is DHCP as well as Fixed IP used.
Hey guys,
I found this free app yest
https://market.android.com/details?id=LinkMyWorld.sem
Its a really good and unique app. I think it should be a part of the list too :-)
Hi! Please give my app Georeader a look. It is free and you can learn a ton of history with it and a lot more. It reads to you aloud historical markers when drive by them so you don't have to stop.
K-9 Mail - sorry but the lack of a search tool for POP3 emails makes this email client useless as far as I am concerned. They claim that such a tool cannot be incorporated into their program (if you doubt me - check out their claims by searching on-line for advice on how to do a search when using K-9 Mail) - however even the standard Android client (to which I have returned - after all I only use my phone to check emails while on the go; it is not as my permanent email client - that is Thunderbird on my PC) has a search tool.
I find WinAmp to be the best free Music player and organizer. Far better than Astro, which is much weaker in music organization in the free version.
Interested in Friendship, Dating , Relationship etc???
https://market.android.com/search?q=frinjopop
“Frinjo Pop”, search people with same interests as yours.
When two or more people with same interests come in proximity then you get notification. You can either send sms or make a phone call, if both are interested.
[Edit] Unnecessary details removed.
I suggest:

Retro Calculator is fun if you don't need all the bells and whistles of a scientific calculator.

From "Phone and messaging" I'd like to mention about smslemon.com. It's android app to manage sms via web site.
Just to let you know, I use GO Launcher EX, and after a friend was bragging one day about how many home screens he had (7), I decided to try with mine... The max is 30, not 9. Once you fill the screen, you can swipe it sideways and add more.
This is the free version, not the paid.
how about Facebook Messenger?
I would suggest to use NetQin Mobile Security I think its better then Lookout.
Wifi Analysiser is one I use a lot, it tells me what Wifi connections are available and how strong they are.
Good suggestion Bernardz. Wifi Analyzer is now on the list.
Profile Timer Free, a simple but quite a useful app. It lets you set your profile in silent for a period of time, say a movie or a meeting then it reverts back to normal.
It would great if it had a location there just in case you left early.
If you are into music apps, you may wanna check our new radio app for android we've just launched and tell us what you think. The app is for free and offers more than 4000 international radio stations and podcasts. We are constantly adding new stations and if you can't find your favorite we'll add it. contact@rad.io. Hope you enjoy!
rad.io rocks!
Bubba Army Rules!
Jojoyee,
I feel Google Sky should be included in the Educational category. Download the app then hold the phone up next to any part of the night sky. The default display orients to the direction perpendicular to the display, e.g. the display shows roughly the portion of sky that would be shown in the built in camera.
Come to think of it, I'll include the app on the free astronomy page.
Rick
Absolutely that's a fun and good educational app, Rick, and I would agree it will be a good add-on to your review article Best Free Astronomy Software. I tried this app sometime ago and quite liked it but somehow it was missing from my to-be-reviewed list. Thanks for the suggestion and it's now added to the list here.
I don't have an Android phone, but I do have an {Pandigital} S3C6410ANDROID ADB, and I have no programs and not much more then an operating system and two games. Solatary and Links. Other then that, I have nothing. I'd like to get some of the games on here and some of the apps as well. but I don't have a Android Phone so this web page is not letting me get any thing.
Please help... I just bought this yesterday.
Mahalo.
I believe the reader comes with SlideME marketplace to download apps. Or you can go with the Amazon App Store for android. To use Amazon, configure your included email client, then in the browser, go to their app store to download the app store app to the reader - follow their very good instrutions - and go from there. I don't think Google Android Marketplace is supported.
Take it back for a refund and look at the new Kindle tablet, which uses the Android operating system.
Yes, take it back! Get a Droid X2 for a less expensive phone, and a Motorola Razr if you have some money to spend. The Motorola Phones ROCK! I get metal detector, flashlights, compasses, two types of barcode scanners, bubble level, super compass, guitar string tuner, speed test, just to name a few!
Pandigital uses the Android OS.
I really liked Zlango messaging. it's an icon texting app, and it's still free https://market.android.com/details?id=com.zlango.zms&feature
Angry Birds
Is already included - see page 12
